A Sophisticated Front-end with HTML5 and jQuery

When I came on board with VenueDex there was a functional back-end in place, but no customer-friendly front-end. Designer Charles Drueco made a fantastic user interface, which I integrated into the Ruby on Rails back-end using HAML and jQuery. The system has many slick, dynamic, and AJAX-powered features such as calendars, meters and count-down clocks which I implemented as custom jQuery plug-ins. The result is a ground-breaking web application that feels natural and intuitive to the user.
